Dear Parents/Guardians,
Hello, my name is Mr. Karas and I am thrilled to have your son or daughter in my Physical Education class this year! I attended Illinois State University, where I obtained my Elementary Education teacher certificate. At Illinois State I also obtained my endorsements for Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Language Arts. I later attended Northeastern Illinois University and received my endorsements in Physical Education and Health Education. As you can see if your son or daughter has any trouble in other subject areas I can be another resource for them to seek out. This is my 8th year working in the education world and I can’t wait!
I am a huge believer in keeping an open line of communication with my students’ parents/guardians. As parents/guardians you guys are their first teachers and play a huge role in your child’s education. Please expect phone calls or emails from me throughout the year pertaining to your child’s progress in Physical Education class.
