Southeast School continued a 30-plus year tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving with a special feast on Nov. 17.
The school’s first and second graders dressed as pilgrims and Indians for the feast – parts that the kids also played during the school’s Thanksgiving play. The “Indians” welcomed the “pilgrims” to dinner before all of the students sat down for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
Parents of the first and second grade students purchased the meal for the students and were on hand to help serve the food during the feast.
